Avendex Demos
The Avendex demos should have full feature parity with the retail version of Avendex. However, the demo contains data for only five bird species. (The "real" retail version of Avendex contains data pertaining to more than 400 species!) Also, there may be a lag between the roll-out of a new version of Avendex and its "migration" into the demo.

All demos make moderate use of documents in PDF format. Windows users can download Adobe's free Acrobat Reader from their web site: www.adobe.com. Mac OS X and Linux (we think) users have a PDF viewer included with their operating system.

Generally, if the demo runs satisfactorily on your machine, the real Avendex application will also run satisfactorily. The retail version of Avendex contains a much larger database, and reports may run a little slower.
