Redshank Software Completes OS Trifecta |

| Redshank Software is pleased to announce that the Linux version of Avendex has gone late-beta and is now bundled with all shipping versions of Avendex.
The Linux version is also included with the Avendex Updater CDs, which are available to any licensed Avendex user for $9. The Linux version is not sold as a separate product; instead, it is included with the Windows and Macintosh versions of Avendex. Existing Avendex users that have successfully migrated to the new database format implemented in the Fall of 2006 (i.e., are currently running at least Version 1.7.2 for either Windows or Mac OS X) may be able to run the Linux version without purchasing an Updater CD, although the process of achieving this goal may vary from system to system. The Avendex for Linux web page has more information about this possibility. Windows and Macintosh registration codes for Avendex are not valid for the Linux version. Please email us to obtain a valid Linux registration code. "We've been working hard for this day for quite some time," said Russ Tyndall, President of Redshank Software. "Based on user requests and our success with the Linux version of ClipBird, we know this release will make many Avendex users very happy." Questions about the Linux version of Avendex? Email us. |
