For Mac OS 10.4+:
- 800 x 600 minimum screen resolution (position and size of the Dock may impact these requirements)
- 200 megabytes of hard drive space
- CD-ROM Drive
- Requires Mac OS X v. 10.2 or later. However only 10.4+ is officially supported. (We only test on 10.4 and 10.5.)
For Windows:
- Officially supported: Vista/2000/XPHome (SP2+)
- Monitor that supports a minimum of 800 X 600 screen resolution
- 500 megabytes of hard drive space available
- CD-ROM Drive (8x speed or higher recommended)
For Linux:
A Linux version of Avendex is included with both the Windows and Macintosh versions. At this time, we do not sell the Linux version separately. For more information, see our Avendex for Linux page.
Avendex for Linux should run on any x86-based Linux distribution that includes:
- GTK+ 2.8 (or higher)
- glibc-2.3 (or higher)
- libstdc++.so.5 and libstdc++.so.6
- CUPS (Common UNIX Printing System)
Linux hardware requirements:
- 512 mb of RAM
- Display that supports at least 800 x 600 pixel resolution
- 500 mb of free hard drive space
- CD-ROM drive
