OffHook Support Technical Support We offer free email support for OffHook, and will try to quickly fix any bugs or other deficiencies that we can. For support, email us at: support@redshanksoftware.com or fill out and submit a Support Request form. If you use the Support email address, you should receive an automated response. If you use the form, you'll just see a page acknowledging the request. These are the platforms we officially support: Windows Vista/XP/2000 If OffHook is not working (for example, other users aren't appearing in the status window), most likely your router is dropping UDP packets or there is some type of firewall issue. Try (temporarily!) turning off the firewalls on the computers in question and see if that fixes the issues. If it does, then the solution is simply adjusting your firewalls to allow the proper traffic to pass through whatever network port you have specified in settings (the default port is 62007). If the source of your problem is not firewall-related, then you must explore issues with your router or other networking equipment. Unfortunately, we aren't going to be able to help with local network issues. Registration Code Issues If you've successfully purchased an OffHook license via the Kagi store (and received your email receipt from Kagi), but haven't received your registration code within 48 hours, then our emails to you are likely being intercepted by a spam filter somewhere. The best thing to do is fill out the Support Request form, and we will try to email you using a different email address. |
